Hiatus
Hey everyone!
Things are going to slow down here except for announcements about completed projects so that I can keep my website (idiophonebox.com) up to date.
I’ll most likely still be reading your posts and I hope you’re still interested in reading what I’m up to. Thanks for following me!

Print Series
I’m working on my first series of ink/block prints and am finding the tips on Geninne’s art blog to be very helpful. Luckily I ended up with the tools she reccommends.
Everywhere I read about the particular linoleum cutter I have, it is pointed to as a great beginner tool. If I had continued with my Swiss Army knife, a pair of gloves would have been added to the mix so I...

Part of the allure comes from Mr. Kaufman’s role as a co-founder of the defunct KB Toys store chain, from which he retired in 1981. He has given no reason for selling the collection he spent 59 years amassing, except for a nod toward destiny. “It’s time for me to sell,” he said.

I should have know Passion Pictures was behind The Beatles: Rock Band commercial. The artists they represent have done some of my favorite music videos and commercials. Even if I don’t particularly like the subject or music involved, they are visually stunning.

Adrian Tomine and Seth at The Brattle tonight
It’s a good thing I’m on the Drawn and Quarterly e-mail list or I would have totally eaten the $6 ticket. That’s right. Only $6.
Luckily, I held out on getting Adrian Tomine’s Optic Nerve Comics one by one. His newest collection, 32 Stories, is all of them together with new notes and an introduction by Tomine. Fantastic.
