Christmas gifts
I made a lot of Christmas gifts this year and managed not to take pictures of any of them. I planned to, but the relief of actually finishing them made me forget. I may be able to amend this post with pictures later. For now, here’s a list:

(more pictures coming soon)
- Designed and drew a cover for Alice in Wonderland
- Made a cameo pin of Dudley out of clay
- Screen printed a shirt of one of my rejected threadless designs
- Animated a 30 second clip of a snowman catching a bus
- Published my bird book, Aviary Eatery, on lulu.com
I tried printing Aviary Eatery as a mini book through iPhoto, but they don’t give any measurement guidelines about where photos get cut off. I still really like the format but, unless all the important parts of your images are centered on the page, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Lulu worked pretty well. I chose the saddlestich binding and followed the instructions for a bleed rather than using their photobook template. Although the staple was a little off-center and I’m not sure if I messed up the bleed directions on some of the pages, overall I was happy with it. Hopefully I can make a few adjustments in the files and publish it officially for sale on lulu. I’ll keep you updated.
