I just listened to the Some Like it Hot episode, learning that it was a remake of a German Film, Fanfaren der Liebe, and realizing Anthony Lane used the last line from the film as the title of his collection of film reviews, Nobody’s Perfect. I looked around excitedly for someone to share this news with. Finding nobody, here it is. When my office building inevitably crumbles around me, its walls surrendering to the construction that is currently making my whole desk shake, someone will know I learned something today.
